On this project to upgrade docks and alumina unloading systems, our industrial building experts made the foundation for the new conveyor according to the client’s specifications. Our team was tasked with engineering, design, and manufacturing for the north and south towers as well as the installation of all conveyors and unloading towers.

Our client, LP Girard, tasked us with the construction of a new industrial workshop for sandblasting and painting. A turnkey project with FABMEC responsible for engineering, design, manufacturing, and construction of the foundations and the building.

Our client, Gestion PBT, hired us to construct a new commercial building that included rental space. Our team delivered this turnkey project brilliantly. We handled engineering, design, manufacturing, and construction of the foundations and the building.

Our client, LVL, hired us to manufacture and install a 600 HP boiler facility. For this turnkey lumber industry project, our team engineered, designed, manufactured, and erected the new building and designed, manufactured, and installed the boiler substructures and bark handling equipment.

For Ryam, one of our lumber clients, FABMEC installed a new sawing line at its existing mill. We engineered, designed, manufactured, and installed log and plank handling equipment and modified and expanded existing buildings.

Scierie Dion hired us to develop a high-speed hydraulic log sorting system. For this turnkey project, the FABMEC team engineered, designed, and manufactured the grading system and designed and supplied all handling equipment before installing it in the existing building.

For this lumber company, FABMEC installed a new sawing line and a new barker. Our team engineered the integration and installation of the new sawing line. Our industrial building specialists made modifications and expanded existing buildings. We also designed, manufactured, and installed log handling equipment.

Setting up a new planer mill for Matériaux Blanchet was a turnkey project. Our team was responsible for all aspects, from engineering, design, and manufacturing to the complete construction of an industrial building. In addition, all handling equipment was designed, supplied, and installed by us.

FABMEC regularly works on industrial projects for the lumber industry. On this project for Matériaux Blanchet, we engineered, designed, manufactured, built, and installed the plane. Our team was also responsible to suply all handling equipement, installation of all mechanical equipment, and startup of the planer mill.

Elkem Metal hired FABMEC to build a feed system at its biocoal plant. Our team engineered, designed, manufactured, and installed the industrial equipment the company needed.

Replacing the Elkem Metal furnace was a real feat of industrial mechanics.

On this industrial mechanical project, our client Alcoa commissioned us to upgrade a pig preheater. The FABMEC team replaced the pig preheater carousel, including installation and startup.

For this sawmill infeed and log sorting system project, the FABMEC team engineered, designed, and manufactured a log grading system, including the equipment foundation. Then we installed the new equipment and started it up.

For this industrial mechanics project, our team was responsible for the engineering, assembly, and startup of a 1.6 km tubular conveyor for Rio Tinto.
