As part of this construction project for Eacom Timber Corporation Inc., our industrial building team completed the foundations for a continuous kiln, in accordance with the plans and specifications provided by the client.

As part of this foundation work project for Rio Tinto, FABMEC participated in the replacement of a railway turntable. Our team handled the dismantling of the existing turntable, the refurbishment of the foundations, and the installation of the new railway turntable.

For the Rapides des Quinze Dam, the MDDELCC entrusted FABMEC with the supply and installation of five regulating gate hoists and one gantry crane. Based on the client’s plans and specifications, our team completed the shop drawings and all required documentation before proceeding with fabrication, factory testing, on-site installation, and equipment commissioning.

LVL entrusted FABMEC with the fabrication and installation of a 600 HP boiler complex. As part of this turnkey project for the wood industry, FABMEC handled the engineering, design, fabrication, and erection of the new building. Our team also completed the design, fabrication, and installation of the boiler substructures and bark handling equipment.

For this wood industry project, Ryam entrusted FABMEC with the installation of a new sawing line in its existing plant. Our team handled the engineering, design, fabrication, and installation of log and board handling equipment, in addition to completing the required modifications and expansions to the existing buildings.

Scierie Dion et Fils Inc. entrusted FABMEC with the development of a high-speed hydraulic log sorting system. As part of this turnkey project, our team handled the engineering, design, and fabrication of the sorting system, as well as the design, supply, and installation of all handling equipment in the existing building.

Clermond Hamel Ltée entrusted FABMEC with the installation of a new sawing line and a new debarker. As part of this wood industry project, our team handled the engineering required to integrate and install the new equipment within the existing facilities.

As part of this industrial mechanics project, ALCOA mandated FABMEC to upgrade an ingot preheater. Our team replaced the preheater carousel and handled its installation and start-up.

As part of this mill infeed and log sorting project for Clermond Hamel Ltée, FABMEC handled the engineering, design, and fabrication of a log sorting system, including the equipment foundations. Our team also completed the installation and commissioning of the equipment.
